Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
  • To gain exposure to all aspects of the Sales Representative position, contribute to efforts to grow reprocessing programs in northwest Ohio and the surrounding area.   
  • Assist internal sales partners in securing new business, successful customer integration, collection of reprocessed materials and overall program monitoring and management. 

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under minimal supervision, follow a schedule to service calls to each hospital within an assigned market/territory to obtain purchase orders for available reprocessed devices.
  • Conduct staff in-services (Technicians, Nurses and Physicians / Surgeons) and education sessions regarding collection and use of reprocessed devices in order to grow program and overcome barriers to utilization.
  • Develop project plans for customer integration/implementation.  Monitor project progress; communicate project status to sales teams, product teams and customers.
  • Collaborate and build effective relationships within assigned accounts as well as with internal partners. 
  • Gather information from multiple hospital sources regarding the program.  Ensure follow up and resolution of issues is completed on a timely basis.
  • May be required to collect containers from departments within the hospital.

Job Qualifications

Education & Relevant Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of sales or customer service related experience OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of sales or customer service related experience.
Additional
  • Experience developing presentations to various audience levels.
  • Willing to travel at least 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
  • Position may require lifting and pushing boxes that weigh up to 20 lbs.
