Under direct guidance/supervision, provide standard and ad-hoc reporting solutions (Collaborate Business Reviews) to Sales Team that will drive management decision making within the organization and lead to improved financial results and operational efficiencies. Report solution design analysis, development, execution, and Key Performance Indicators will be a key focus area. Understand the various operational impacts associated with changes in operations, business strategy, policies, and company objectives and be able to design and develop reporting solutions that will highlight and monitor these impacts
- Utilize Tableau to run data analytics that allow the Sales Team to have meaningful and impactful customer conversations during business reviews
- Prepare and communicate findings and recommendations that will drive financial results
- Responsible for ensuring that quality and timeliness of deliverables meets expectations, balances business needs with appropriate level of analytical rigor
- Partners with Sales Team to define and develop requirements for Collaborate Business Reviews
- Provides and explains guidelines for calculation of all metrics and analysis
- Collaborate with Sales, IS, and Finance to develop, create, and maintain systems and reports containing accurate and timely data
- Analyzes reporting needs and creates standard or ad-hoc reports based on the needs of the business
- Responsible for researching, analyzing, troubleshooting, and ultimately solving business problems
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: designing and creating simple queries, modifying data types, adding dates, working with required fields and/or creating labels).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of algebra and business statistics.
Preferred
- Ability to synthesize various, independently generated, data points into a cohesive analysis
- Attention to detail and accuracy/integrity of data
- Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Experience in creating presentations, particularly for a field sales audience
